200th Birthday Celebration in 2024

We have already started planning 1850’s activities for the 2024 200th Birthday Celebration at Woodlawn Farm Museum. Simple things for children and adults that can be fun such as turning cream into butter, making corn husk dolls, shelling corn, making soap, and other activities allowing the public to learn more about the ways of life in that era. We will be sharing stories of slaves and their efforts to gain freedom via Woodlawn Farm.
